In the four and a half years I've been in Japan, I have come to the conclusion that when I travel, I want to be able to experience my adventures rather than worrying about finding the right shot or focusing on not tripping and destroying my camera on accident. As a result, most of these images have been taken by my phone as a documentation of what I have seen, rather than a piece meant to be formally displayed in a gallery.
